Today, robotics plays a key role in modern logistics operations, and that role is only growing. In 2025, Interact Analysis found that warehouse automation order intake rose by 7%.

Additionally, order intake in 2025 grew at a pace that significantly exceeded previous expectations. Major end customers, including Amazon, Tesco, and Marks & Spencer, made large-scale investments that generated significant growth in market activity.

The 2026 Robotics Summit & Expo, which will be on May 27 and 28 in Boston, will feature an entire session track focused on robots in warehousing and logistics. This track will include:

  • Beyond the Demo: An Under-the-Hood Look at Scaling Autonomous Robots: Teddy Ort, the senior vice president of robotics software and AI at Symbotic, will lead this session.
  • Building Warehouse Robots People Actually Want to Work With: Anthony Jules, the co-founder and CEO of Robust AI, will be speaking.
  • When Robots Don’t Sleep: The Path Toward Lights-Out Warehouses: Jan Zizka, the co-founder and CEO of Brightpick, will lead this talk.
  • From Design to Scale: The Ecosystem Powering Robotics Innovation: This panel session will include insights from Rob Murphy, an account manager at Hawk Ridge Systems, Evan Hochstein, a business manager at Stratasys, and Jon Bond, the general manager of fused filament fabrication at Markforged.
  • Where AI Delivers in Material Handling: Chris Morgan, the senior director of R&D at Bastian Solutions, will participate in this session.
  • Integrating AMRs with Supporting Software Systems for Efficient Packing in Warehouses: Greg Meyne, the vice president of automation, robotics, and consulting at enVista, will discuss this topic.
  • How Physical AI Is Driving Profitable, Scalable Sustainability in Warehouses: Omar Asali, the CEO and chairman of Ranpak, will share his experience.

Meet with other logistics automation professionals at networking events

The Robotics Summit will also feature several networking events to allow attendees to meet with other leaders in the industry.

The first day of the show will end with the RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards Dinner from 6 PM to 8 PM. The evening will honor winners of Robot of the Year, Startup of the Year, Application of the Year, Robots for Good winners, and more.

Guests will enjoy dinner, drinks, and an exclusive conversation with Steve Crowe, chair of the Robotics Summit and executive editor of The Robot Report, Aaron Parness, director of applied sciences at Amazon Robotics, and Bhavana Chandrashekhar, senior manager of applied science at Amazon Robotics.

The second day of the show will kick off with the Women in Robotics Breakfast at 8 AM. This talk will feature insights from Joyce Sidopoulos, co-founder and chief of operations at MassRobotics, and Mikell Taylor, head of robotics strategy at GM.
