As humanoid robots continue to draw attention from global technology, investment, and industrial leaders, the “Big 5” humanoid developers of China will gather in South Korea for the first time next week.
Smart Factory & Automation World (AW) 2026, which described itself as “Asia’s leading manufacturing AX expo,” announced that AGIBOT, Fourier, Huawei, Leju, and Unitree have confirmed their participation. The companies will exhibit and speak at the China Humanoid Robot Conference, or “China Humanoid: First Journey to Korea,” affiliated with AW 2026.
“The gathering of world-class humanoid-robot companies in Korea goes far beyond a simple conference, marking the start of intensified global competition in the humanoid-robot market, with Korea emerging as a key hub,” stated the event organizers.
Chinese humanoid companies to discuss global tech trends
“China is already recognized as a leading market for advanced humanoid robots, with pilot deployments and commercialization underway across the public, industrial, and service sectors,” the conference organizers noted. “The five companies visiting Korea for this event are core players in China’s humanoid robotics industry.”
Jiang Chengyi, head of solutions at Unitree; Zhou Bin, co-founder of Fourier; and Ren Guangjie, head of solutions at Leju, will deliver keynote addresses. They will discuss the country‘s humanoid robotics strategies, commercialization roadmaps, and global expansion plans.
AGIBOT, which claimed to be the world’s No. 1 company in global robot shipments and market share, plans to demonstrate its X2 and G2 humanoids. In addition, Unitree will show its G1, and Leju will show its Kuavo 4th Generation Pro and Kuavo 4 Pro robots.
Huawei, a leading player in China’s core technology development, will present real-world applications of its embedded humanoid robotics technologies.
The academic community will also take part in the event. Yan Weixin, chief scientist at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Institute of Robotics, will share insights from the Chinese robotics research hub and industry. In addition, Hyung-kwan Shin, CEO of China Capital Markets Lab, will deliver a presentation on “China’s Humanoid Robot Industry: Current Status and Ecosystem” and will serve as the moderator of the conference.
