Magnetoelectric underwater skin senses damage, repairs itself

Researchers at the National University of Singapore (NUS) have developed a sensing electronic skin that functions underwater, detects nearby objects, senses physical contact, recognizes when it has been punctured or cut, and repairs itself after damage.
