With a Ph.D. in humanoid robotics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a decade of global research, Kinisi Robotics founder Bren Pierce has scaled multiple companies, raising more than $180 million and deploying over 10,000 robots worldwide.
To bridge the gap between AI and the physical world, he founded Kinisi Robotics to break past the rigid limitations of traditional, hardcoded automation.
Today, the Bristol, U.K.-based company is rapidly scaling its KR1 prototype, using reinforcement learning to automate dirty and repetitive industrial tasks alongside humans.
